Sally Yates sworn in as U.S. Attorney

Sally Quillian Yates was sworn in as U.S. Attorney in Georgia’s Northern District on Friday. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and former U.S. attorneys Yates served, including Kent Alexander, Richard Deane, William Duffey and David Nahmias, spoke during the ceremony.


Cobb County courthouse construction

Cobb’s new building will include expanded jury gathering rooms and have room for the district attorney’s offices, which currently are housed across the street from the courthouses.
