Sally Quillian Yates was sworn in as U.S. Attorney in Georgia’s Northern District on Friday. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and former U.S. attorneys Yates served, including Kent Alexander, Richard Deane, William Duffey and David Nahmias, spoke during the ceremony.

On Wednesday, Former Gov. Zell Miller conducted the swearing-in of both Carol W. Hunstein as chief justice and the court’s new presiding justice, George H. Carley. Miller appointed both justices to the Supreme Court.
