Former Fulton prosecutor Gayle Abramson Csehy testified during the second day of court room proceedings at the Atlanta Municipal Court Building. The long awaited and expensive trial got underway this week. Nichols who is accused of killing three people at the Fulton County Court House and the murder of an ICE agent in North Atlanta on March 11th, 2005, could face the death penalty if convicted. Judge James Bodiford is pressing forward with a schedule to see the trial’s end before Christmas.

Jury selection in the much-delayed trial of accused courthouse killer Brian Nichols got underway Thursday at the Fulton County courthouse, a day after Nichols’ attorneys made it official that they will use an insanity defense. Superior Court Judge James Bodiford, the second judge to preside over the case, opened the proceedings by speaking to potential jurors about 10:05 a.m.
