A Courthouse Line

This year’s Courthouse Line, the Atlanta Bar’s annual musical, featured three sold-out performances earlier this month at the 14th Street Playhouse. Proceeds will go to the Atlanta Bar Foundation’s charitable efforts.

Bell consented to an informal and rare public conversation with King & Spalding partner Phyllis B. Sumner, a former assistant U.S. attorney in Atlanta, during which he reflected on a career that often has paralleled the rise of the New South.
